Art of any kind is his passion so he continues to do hair as often as possible. In his free time, Stephen enjoys working with pottery so he recently opened Mud Run Studio and pottery school. He is an award winning potter and a great teacher. He is also very involved with his two whippets, Mya and Layla. They are both award winning coursing hounds nationaly.

Stephen was awarded Master of The Craft by the Art and Fashion Group International in 1998. He spent many years as a platform artist for the beauty industry. He has worked as an educator for the Wella Corporation and the Raylon Corporation. He has managed several salons before opening Eclipse in 1975. His work has been published in several beauty industry magazines. He continues to be a respected leader in the beauty industry.
